Bringing together Bangalore’s best-loved Yoga schools for a festival that celebrates Yoga is always lots of fun! Not only did the yogis attending the classes get to practice under amazing Yoga Teachers teaching different yoga styles, they also bonded with fellow practitioners! Oct 17th saw the 2nd edition of the World Yoga Day Festival event, this time hosted at VR Bengaluru and featured 4 Yoga Schools.
Starting the day at 7am was Hemanth Hegde, founder-teacher of SoulYogaCycle who taught a Hatha Yoga and Pranayam class. Hemanth’s students travelled far to come be a part of the event and had the best-possible start to the morning!
Next up, Neetu Singh & Manish Pole, founder-teachers of Total Yoga taught their signature Total Yoga class comprising Vinyasa-flow, Hatha yoga, Pranayam & Meditation. Transiting from Asana to Dhyaan seamlessly was integral to the Total Yoga experience!
Following up was Pradeep Gowda, founder-teacher of a1000Yoga who taught an Ashtanga Yoga class. Pradeep took the students through a challenging sequence while being mindful!
The last act of the day was Radhika Chaliha, creator of Kiki’s Life, who taught an Acro-Yoga class. Radhika led an awe-inspiring, flying Acro class that had yogis overcoming fears and breaking barriers with regards to trust, balance and team-work!
All in all, a good day at the office for the Yoga Teachers and a great learning and bonding experience for the yogis who participated. Special thanks to Goldrush Entertainment for putting this event together. Look forward to meeting al the Yogis at the next Yoga Festival!
